Training

When we train athletes we don’t just develop a program, we create a program based on knowing the foundation of our athlete. By examining our athlete with a “fundamental movement scan” we can know where they are in the development process, and we can be sure that they are ready to attempt performance training programming.

We build athletes from the centre outward. We make sure they are balanced. We make sure they “can” do the movements we require them to do. And we build their training programs in a progressive manner using the most effective exercises and traing tools in the business. At our High Performance Facility we access equipment like the Airex Pad©, Duraballs©, Dynadiscs©, Bosu Trainer©, Sorinex Landmine©, cables, free weights, instability boards, JC Bands©, and much much more to keep our athletes challenged and interested in their training. But, we always use the right tool, at the right time, and in the right place, we make sure of it!

“Scott Livingston is a creative genius! Olympic weightlifting can be very repetitive and the tonnage can be overwhelming. Scott has come up with all sorts of fun exercises to stimulate the neuromuscular demands of the competitive lifts. His programs have brought a new and challenging element to my training. The coolest part is that through doing these exercises with little on no weight, along side of my normal training, I’ve been able to improve my performance breaking long standing Canadian records, winning a Gold medal at the Commonwealth games, and winning Silver recently at the World Championships!”
